I re-read Kobe Bryant’s “The Mamba Mentality” last night. Very, very good book.
Kobe’s game day mental preparation really stuck out to me. He made a comment about wearing headphones with no sound so he’d have time for himself to think/focus about the game.
It made me stop and wonder, what do I think about when my surroundings are perfectly quiet?
Are my surroundings ever quiet?
If you haven’t done that lately, I challenge you to take a 3 minute break today to sit with no sound or screens. Just pay attention to what you think about.
Enjoy.
